If you have lost a child, grandchild or sibling, no matter what the cause or at what age the child died, and you need support, The Compassionate Friends is a wonderful resource. Our annual Candle Lighting Service will be held on Sunday, December 12, in conjunction with the TCF Worldwide Candle Lighting held on the second Sunday in December each year. This event has no religious affiliation and is not centered around any of the winter holidays; it is just a time to share our children and light candles in their memory.

Space Coast Chapter of The Compassionate Friends – 2010 Candle Lighting Service

Date & Time: December 12, 2010 5:30 PM
Location: The Springs of Suntree Clubhouse, 8300 Holiday Springs Road, Melbourne, FL (Off Viera Blvd., near US Hwy 1)
Highlights: Finger foods available starting at 5:30 PM; welcome and readings starting at 6:15 PM; readings and recorded music during lighting of candles at 7:00 PM; socializing after candle ceremony.
Bring: Finger foods or a dessert to share with the group; photos or small remembrance of your child.
Special Events (before): 5:30 PM: Share light finger food prior to ceremony.
Special Events (after): Socializing, meet the Chapter Leader and Steering Committee members, have dessert and refreshments.
Additional: If you would like your child’s picture to appear in our slide show during the ceremony send digital photo with date of birth and death to: spacecoasttcfjoan@gmail.com ASAP. We will not be able to include last minute photos.
